Hahaha, we have some things in common (I have worked with kids a lot and the parents are almost always worse than the kids themselves!) and I am so scattered.

When I can't think of anything to write, I will go find a creative writing challenge or contest or for a five minute #freewrite challenge and that usually spurs me on to write more things. Maybe you could find things like that (or whatever your interests are) to inspire you when you don't know what to write :)
