RE: Sndbox's 1st Intern, Ready to Learn!

@twotoedsloth Welcome to Steemit. Thanks for posting something interesting to discuss.

I've read the proposal and the article about the underground bathhouse. What are your thoughts on Kaesong Industrial Region? How do its successes and failures relate to plans for urban reunification architecture?

Hello @bullhashbear! Your question is interesting because the Kaesong Industrial Region was shut down when South Korea's president was Park Geun Hye, around the time when North Korean provocations were at its highest. When Moon Jae In was elected, he stressed reopening and expanding this region in hopes of reunification in the near/far future.

What else is interesting is that there are only two ways of getting into the region: road and railroad. Thorough analysis of these existing road systems and how it connects with Panmunjom, the truce village. When considering the scale of the project, these two areas can potentially link together and involve urban planning for its own city.
