This is our very first and introduction post. We are quite excited about this! π
We are Lavinia @elliptique and Steffi @ravenmus1c from Germany.
We both make music since we were children and although our musical influences are very different, we decided to come together for a project called BRAIN CANDY. π
As we both like to listen and produce chilled music, we decided to make a channel focussing on relaxation, meditation, yoga, better concentration and any music, soundscapes and spoken words that help you calm down and escape the stress of everyday life.
Of course we will post our self-produced music, but we are also happy to feature musicians of HIVE on our channel! :)

Let us tell you a little more about us:
We are both professional video and graphic designers (well Lavina even more than Steffi), and we love doing it, so we also put a lot of work in our visuals which you will find amongst the tracks.
Lavinia can play many instruments which are perfect for making relaxing music.
Steffi has alot of experience in producing meditation music for professional YouTube channels. So she knows about brainwave entrainment techniques like binaural beats or isochronic tones.
These skills combined together were obviously leading to what we start now: BRAIN CANDY.
We are very excited that this is the beginning and we hope that many of you accompany us on our journey. π

WOW, you getting a set of post like comments, but all from bots. In between all that power, I give you a little manually written comment. I dont have to welcome you to HIVE, since you both are already here with your own accounts. I do like the initiative! Wondering though what you mean with you "but we are also happy to feature musicians of HIVE on our channel!" Are you planning to play the music provided by others or somehow incorporate the 3rd party music in your Brain Candy blog?
ps How nice to see both working together on this project. You both seem to have your specialities, electronic and acoustic. The combo can be very nice!

About your question: We produce alot of meditation music ourselves, but are always happy if we have more music which we can use in our videos and we also hope to help some musicians get more exposure if we play their music in our videos and name them.
Yeah you are right, the combination electronic and acoustic is fascinating and we are always experimenting with that!
