Hey everybody. I'm brand new to Steemit, but I'm excited to be here and start to meet you all! I hear tradition calls for new members to introduce themselves, so here we go...
Hello!
My name is Brady. I'm 24 years old, and recently graduated in Graphic Design from BYU in Utah. For the last year, I've been working for the school's athletics department, doing mostly social media graphics for BYU Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Women's Soccer. I'm also a singer/songwriter, a novelist and I Iove action sports like snowboarding, wakeboarding and rock climbing.
But more than anything, I'm here to share my stories and connect with other authors. I've been writing seriously for the last three years, and I've written two sci-fi novels (in different series). One is about a group of kids learning to use their powers in a giant desert city hidden in the shadow of a dam (my photo above should give you an idea of the setting), and the other follows a girl who bonds with the most dangerous animal in a famous wildlife reserve on a distant planet. I'll be sharing my stories chapter by chapter right here on my blog, so be sure to check them out and let me know what you think!
I've built some complex worlds that I think you're really going to like! If you like writing, or Sci Fi and Fantasy in general, we need to be friends!

STOPHey Brady, I'm Oatmeal Joey, and I'm a big fan of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Battle Star Galactica.
So awesome. I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan as well, and I do like the Star Trek movies but I'm pretty young so I'm not too familiar with Battle Star Galactica (or the original Star Trek show, for that matter).
The new Battle Star Galactica came out about a decade ago.
Oh, cool. I'll have to check that out someday.
