RE: Announcing NFT Showroom: Collectible, Scarce, Tokenized Art on Hive

Interesting project.

The only caveat I see the dependence on the centralized db. Withouth the database there is no way to identify and ensure the uniqueness of an NFT. I would personally love to use an on-chain based solution which is not just ERC721 compliant but also ensures uniqueness.

"centralized database" is really underselling what Hive-Engine is. All data is first put onto the blockchain before it enters into the database, the database is opensource, and the data base can be verified by anyone that's interested. It isn't essential that everyone runs their own node because the database is deterministic because all the information in the blocks is already chronologically organized by the witnesses.

Well I'm trying to install my witness for 2 months now.. the mira version... It was running for 1 day then the rocksdb got corrupted? So I had to do a blockrepair what left me with a chainless witness and had to do a replay again... I'm not giving up... ever.... 😂🤣😂🤣 the server cost only 6 euro a month so it could be fundable with @greendeliverence posts.

Missed this message. Well, it’s super easy to put everything on the chain itself with rocksdb. Now that the product is established perhaps it’s time to invest and and make a true NFT with both images and all the content on the chain 😊

Being said that It’s outstanding that what hive engine has achieved and it’s the best NFT platform out there without doubt.
