#IntroduceYourself : We are Beatnation! Malaysia Beatbox Community and more!! #TeamMalaysia

Hello Steemit, we are Beatnation, Malaysia's Beatbox Community! :) 

Beatnation started back in 2010, as a simple idea to grow the community so that everyone can have a fair platform to grow. And as time passed we have done some incredible things for our community, sending representatives to regional and international competitions (We Won!), inviting international guests for masterclass workshop (We invited the World Champ!), and most importantly, growing the community day by day (We are now 2,000+ members strong!). However with all our effort we still struggle with one of the biggest problems, we do not have enough financial to support everyone, until we hear about Steemit! 

We love the idea that creating content rewards the author, and it can also build our own new audience internationally, so we as a collective decided that we want to upload our content here to share with you all! So what can you expect from us? 

• Awesome beatbox videos (duh!) of our local beatboxers
• Easy to learn tutorials taught by our fellow members
• Competitions! We will host talent competitions, beatbox competitions and more so we can give back to the Steemit community for your support as well
• Life stories of our future talents, learn about their daily struggles to be a niche market artist in a niche market country. It's not always sunshine and daisies here, but we remain positive! 

As we have a huge community coming in, we will be very, very active in posting our content, and you might also notice we will be self voting way too often than we should, there is a reason behind it. We have recently been invested by an angel investor as he wants to see us grow, so we will be using the funds to pay every beatboxer every time they upload their content through our channel. As for the rewards, it will be collected by us and given back to our investor as a form of investment return. This may not sit well with most of you we are sure, but the reason we are doing this is also because there is a huge wage gap between the community and full time musicians, and it will take ages for them to get anywhere near while trying to survive. Hence this move of coming onto Steemit is not just to bring exposure to the truly talented, but also to pay them for what their actually worth. 

We hope the Steemit community will be understanding and supportive towards our cause, in return we will ensure all the content we put up are of quality, and it will improve over time.
