Hi I'm Seton - Pleased To Be Here In These Changing Times

My name is Seton Christian,
I am essentially nobody; but I like to think of myself, as somebody. For the majority of my 51 years I have lived either in Africa, Europe, Asia or North America and to still be alive, I can assure you, is an absolute miracle. Later I will tell you some stories of my worldwide adventures.

After 34 years of smoking dope I stopped four months ago, as a result my spelling has fallen off the cliff and my concentration isn’t all that, but my heart is willing, for as the Bishop once said: “It takes character to endure the rigors of perseverance; here’s hoping I have some.”

In the past few months I have begun to realize how much more fucked up the world we share is, I wish I had some answers and recognize someone seriously should get on top of the situation.

We are all to blame, well most of us anyways, in some way shape or form, though when all alone with no TV, Internet or Radio on to feed us what they call ‘News’, life can seem peaceful and all is well…

Lucky Dip

I guess it answer’s the old question that if a tree falls in the forest, with no one in earshot, does it make a sound? - I think we all knew it did.

Am I having a good week so far?
Well, I won the ‘Lucky Dip European Football Championship Sweepstake' on Portobello road in London where I live. It is a paltry 75 pounds, which is only about 100 dollars.

Back In The Day

Still, I had the good fortune to meet our ex Prime Minister David Cameron this morning, he came to the café across from my local coffee shop, which he always did before he became P.M.

I guess, he’d been dreaming about the good old days and so went there on his first day after resigning from office – Or was it just a planned photo shoot? – Maybe – Still, it must take some character to do that job I guess. I hope I have some, for with out it I am a goner.

The Stage Of Life

I need character to be able to write and finish the ‘hit Play’ I am structuring. Well, I say ‘hit’ because am raising the bar high, aiming for the top, you got too, so even if I get close that wont be too bad, a success even!

Oh wait… No… Am going to go for clearing that bar… Thou shall never drop standards and that goes for us all. You got to have belief… I believe.

Hope I didn’t smoke too much in those 34 years. But, no, that ship has sailed and probably made me good for nothing else other than my cooking, which has got progressively better after 30 years. The first four or five years were a bust, utterly useless… Thou shalt persevere. I have me a discerning palate and love to drum, (not particularly well), on a kit and dream… If it makes you happy it’s all good.

Am just beginning to start getting my head around ‘Steemit’ and the digital world. It might need some more perseverance, for I have that… ‘’Dear god it’s a whole new science to me” feeling… To be able to think it up and implement it, fair going and quite inspiring but I take my hat of to you, Sir or Madam, if I had one…I shall be posting again to regale you with my 51 years of stories. Now, I must find a perseverance station and fill up. Oh by the way I took a photo of David Cameron as he sat down and picked up the “Sun Newspaper”. It is the U.K.’s biggest tabloid and most read. They gave me £400, approximately $550 that means this month’s rent is paid. In fact the government’s economic policies have directly caused my problems with paying the rent this month.
You got to love the irony.
