Born in 1989 in an artists' family, daughter of the famous fashion photographer Gianpaolo Barberis and architect/designer Maria Cristina Chiulli, I learned to love cinema and photography very early, using my first photo camera at the age of 5 and editing my first documentary at the age 13. I have worked, among others, with directors Simona Izzo (Lasciami per sempre (2017)), Riccardo Ferrero (MMA Love Never Dies (2017), and the web series Apulia Passion on the Road (2013)), Franco Brogi Taviani (Ama solo te (2015), as director of photography), Augusto Zucchi (La voce (2013)), Stefano Calvagna (Si vis pacem, para bellum (2016)), Ettore Florio (as DP in the feature documentary Il Ritorno del Cigno (2014) about the life of the famous composer Gioachino Rossini), Alberto De Venezia (as DP in the feature documentary La rabbia (2015) about the crisis of cinema in Italy), the television director Paolo Carrino; I have also cooperated with the cinematographers Bruno Cascio (Oh mio Dio!
