Hey there, Steemit.
I'm AsciiFaceman, or the Omar Outfit, depending on what I am doing. I make music, I code, I drive cars for fun at high speeds on closed courses.
Professionally I am an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) who also dabbles in backend and frontend (both mobile and desktop). I've been doing this about 10 years.

I love animals, and have a dog and a cat who are best friends.
The dog is a Rhodesian Ridgeback Boxer mix who gets confused with pittys all the time, but she doesn't mind.
All in all I am here to share my music, share news, and be involved. I've always acted as a curator amongst my friends, sifting through the internet for the best information and best laughs. I'm hoping to bring everything from new music tracks and engineering insight, to animal pictures and car/track discussion.
Here's to Steemit's and by extension, Steem's success.

A lot of people use the mobile app "esteem". I tried it but I thought it was too glitchy.

Also Discord make a nice app that I use for promoting my work.
Do you know about Discord?
I use discord chat for a few things but I don't honestly promote my work that much. I just kind of throw it out and hope people like it haha.
I'll have to check out esteem android. My biggest disappointment so far is a lack of comment notifications - which I've been using steemd to see.

The reason I use Discord to attempt to promote my work is because our posts quickly become buried under all the New posts...
People can't have a chance to "like it" if they never see it.
I don't really know how much Discord and Steemit Chat actually help when I post in the "Promotions" area... But I try. :-)
Yeah I've noticed dsound is a little cluttered and/or just not super active views-wise.
so far that's been my experience too
