hello there,

my name is ana. i'm a 19 year old mexican on the move. i am originally from northern mexico and moved to california back in december of 2013. living here has allowed me to experience countless of great things in many aspects of my life. but i will always hold my country dear to my heart wherever i go.

i learned about steemit through my boyfriend @gmartinsnogueira -who is always introducing me to new things i probably would have never found on my own. he first explained to me about crypto currency, and i got the gist of it all. he then later mentioned steemit, and after a quick overview and tutorial, i was more than down to creating a profile.

it is not of popular knowledge that i enjoy writing. although i have shared some of my work here and there with people, and been encouraged by teachers and professors to write more, take course, etc. i have always shied away from it all. however, lately i have been truly inspired and motivated to share my experiences, and the little knowledge i have in different areas and topics. i value learning everything from everyone more than anything else. with that said, i am more than excited to be her on steemit and bring great content that many people are able to enjoy, relate, find useful and/or inspire.

i have a vast array of interests, some more protuberant than others specially in my current lifestyle. learning about different cultures is something i have always striven to actively understand and admire, thus leading me to want to learn languages, their cuisine, and appreciate their traditions and perhaps adapt their values into my life. it's my desire and on my plans to travel as much as i can to admire what our little big world has to offer, and i hope i can capture it all to share with everyone and treasure for myself.

i am also a big fan of food, and as of recently i have found i enjoy cooking just as much as eating. almost three years ago i decided to embark myself into my own journey following a vegan lifestyle. to this day, i don't regret taking that step and i don't think i ever will. but on hindsight, there is thing i wish i knew from the beginning, or that i would have done differently. such thoughts give me so many ideas to discuss and collect information on. however, i don't come here (or go anywhere) to preach about veganism. whoever comes, shows interests, is more than welcome! i am more than happy to connect with people with the same values as me. as for anyone else, i respect you regardless and unconditionally shall you don't inflict harm and cause trouble. so look forward to recipes, tips, reviews, and advice!
