Hello (again) everyone!
After joining Steemit at the end of July 2017, I was fortunate enough to enjoy it for roughly ONE month. At the end of August I sort of went off the grid; by that I mean limited and little connection to the internet. This lasted for four months which I think in this day and age felt like four years.
These four months have been quite the experience. At the beginning you realise how much you rely on the internet and how easy it made your life by having access to it. Reaching for Steemit, Google, Pinterest and YouTube out of habit, was met with a harsh reminder that you have no connection.
Slowly after a while it became easier; reminding you of your childhood and how you used to live. You might even become accustomed to this new way of living…for a while. Ultimately you get over it really quickly.
The last month was the worst, but what a joyous day it was to get connected to an uncapped internet account again!!!
For this reason I felt the need to post a short "introduction-reminder" post just to let everyone know I am still here and did not quit Steemit!
It is great to be back and connected to everything and everyone again. Not sure how much changed on Steemit the past four months, but I already noticed the new look.
I look forward to reading some of the posts I missed and to be part of this Steemit community again.
Happy 2018!
I believe we are on the right path to learn and to earn as well! Let's build a great steem together, do more posts! It's getting really exciting. Following you see my work and follow back✌️Happy New Year!
I agree. I feel a bit rusty, but I am sure I will get back into it. Following you, thank you.
Welcome to Steem Community @aidanblue! As a gentle reminder, please keep your master password safe. The best practise is to use your private posting key to login to Steemit when posting; and the private active key for wallet related transactions.
In the New Steemians project, we help new members of steem by education and resteeeming their articles. Get your articles resteemed too for maximum exposure. You can learn more about it here: https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@gaman/new-steemians-project-launch
Thank you so much. I will have a look at the link and I am following you!
Glad to be back. Love what I am seeing so far!
