I was approved a couple weeks ago, but just now am working on getting this typed. I would like to start writing what's on my mind and see if it is anything people are interested in. I will be writing about things that happen in my life and views on the world.
Right now I play too much WoW. I would like to stop and actually do more, but I have found myself in a rut. I need to find people to help me get out more and workout. I need to start doing the Manitou Incline more. So, if anyone is in the Colorado Springs area and wants a workout/hiking/biking partner then let me know.
I am also a nudist and try to go to resorts or hot springs as much as I can. It kinda sucks going alone because I am not great at talking and meeting new people. The friends I have right now do not agree with nudist. They think it is more than it really is.
It is good to be able to enjoy true freedom.
I have done some college toward architecture, but for now I have been taking a break. Have lost my motivation to continue. I would like to eventually design innovative and interesting buildings. One of the projects that I want to work on is homes for foster kids. The ones waiting to be adopted. I could be wrong, but I'm not sure that the current foster homes really makes kids feel that they are wanted or are really geared toward feelings of loneliness and depression. I would like to design a place that focuses on physical health by way of street calisthenics. Lots of pullups and body weight exercises. Teach kids to be able to control their own bodies and find peace within themselves. Maybe even some meditation rooms or something too. Make sure all activities are able to challenge the mind of many different mind sets, because not everyone is the same.
I have many other ideas in my mind that I would like to get out and work on, I just need the right help. It wouldn't hurt to be able to find someone to spend my life with to help me have a real life. Yes I do have some depression, but who doesn't have problems. Most people aren't willing to admit their problems. They blame everything on someone else. Most of my problems come from being alone. I would like to find more people to interact with and do things with. It's just hard for me to do alone. I also have ideas for books to write, I just haven't quite gotten too far with them.
I am looking for someone that is in shape, skinny, or petite. It wouldn't hurt for us to like a lot of the same things, but we don't have to like all of the same things. I have a decent metabolism, so I usually don't have to work out much to not get fat, but I would like to eat better and workout more myself. It would be great to find someone that can understand me and give me a chance to actually get to know me instead of judge at first sight. I am looking for a relationship like Deadpool has with his girlfriend in the first movie. Yes, the sex would be great, but I am actually referring more to their emotional connection. I know there are girls out there that fit my type, I just don't know where to find them. I do like to watch movies, hike, workout, ice skate, bike. I would like to have my own kids someday and teach them to be better than I am. I wouldn't want them to have the same problems that I do.
I will be honest and dedicate to the person that I date. Since I am not good about talking to other people that well, there is a very low chance that I could ever cheat. Most girls go for a guy that has a lot of confidence and talks to them with ease, but shouldn't they be more concerned with that because that guy can also talk to other girls with ease too. I guess I am saying that I would be a safe bet. I am, however, looking for 2 females to share my life with if it is able to work out. Maybe I am searching for too much. I would really just like to have someone that can stick by my side.
I am searching for a purpose in life. A reason to live. An actual reason for why we exist. I may not find it, but it would help if I wasn't alone while I still do exist. I am Atheist, but I don't shove it down anyone's throat. I don't mind dating or hanging out with anyone that does have a religion, but they just can't expect me to convert.
I guess I don't really have much else for now. If you follow me then you shall be able to read some of the things that trouble my mind.

Interesting post. I struggle with some of the same things you do like talking to people. That is usually extremely difficult for me because my conversations tend to go ”How is your day?” ”fine.” ”Great. See ya later.”
I too struggle with major bouts of depression.
Anyways. Nice first write.
P.s. Steemit tends to have these people who upload stolen content and will follow you. They won’t have an avatar. I ignore them.
I have featured you and this post in my entry:

I hope it helps.
All the best!
@freedomshift featured you in the Pay it Forward curation contest . That's what brought me to your post .
Welcome to steemit! That's a lot poured into one introduce yourself post :) I mean that in a good way too. You seem to be in a bit of a slump at the moment; you have a lot of great ideas but seem to be lacking the drive right now to do it? I'm assuming that has to do with your depression as well, and for that I am sorry. You are right about being so solitary; it becomes a bad habit and leaves you way too much time to think and focus on what's not going so great. I hope I'm not coming across as preachy, because that's not my intention at all. One of my sons suffers from anxiety and depression, so I guess I just recognize some of the signs.
This is a pretty tough platform to break into, and truthfully, it takes a lot of work and a lot of "socializing" which might be the best thing for you too. There are so many really good people to connect with here; I've been on the receiving end of a lot of genuine compassion and it started with me getting "out there" and commenting like crazy. I did start here and think that if I wrote some posts, that people would come flocking, but it doesn't really work that way.
There are a couple of great groups here that I'd recommend you joining to make this an enjoyable experience for you. One is @newbieresteemday and the other is @greetersguild. Both groups welcome, mentor and encourage new folks here. They have Discord channels set up that you can join and meet and chat to people there as well. It's a great way to begin developing relationships on here.
If you're interested, here's the link to join @greetersguild and here's the one for @newbieresteemday. In fact, I'm going to return as newbieresteemday to resteem your post to try and give you a little extra boost and some exposure.
So, get off of WOW and get on steemit instead haha
EDIT: oops I forgot to tell you that it was @freedomshift who got me over here. He featured you in our Pay it Forward Curation Contest; you should consider joining us :)
Welcome to steemit @affexiii :)
Congratulations you have been upvoted and resteemed as part of #newbieresteemday's top posts for the day! ...

Hi guy. welcome to steem.I hope you will achieve your goals . We can use our experiences.voted
Thankyou for such an honest sharing bro. I want to give you my honest opinion, and where I am coming from is having journeyed from a place of dissatisfaction in my self to a place of peacefulness and much gratitude for what I have. I'm a human being like you.
Gaming
I too used to spend waaay too much time gaming, what I played was DOTA 2, so not too dissimilar to WoW. In the end I gave it up out of self disgust, it was making me very emotionally unbalanced interacting with the other players - these people werent on a quest to complete themselves, they just wanted to stay in the distraction.
If you are serious about finding out what's troubling you then you will have to let some things go, and these things might be people that you have a connection with through the game.
It's hard to do, but if we can let go of what no longer serves us - then it allows new things to come in that more accurately match how we feel and who we are.
I haven't thought about it for a while but I miss my gaming buddies a little bit, yet I don't regret my decision. I still have love in my heart for these people, and in time there might be ways to reconnect on another level.
Finding Love
I have spent a lot of time fixating on a partner (or a lack of a partner), and wanting to connect in a way that enhances my life as well. I have been really unhappy both by myself and in relationships with girls/women.
Ultimately I realised that I needed time to myself to really find out who I was before I could truly give of myself in a relationship.
Going through this I have learned that it all really comes back to us in the end, it's our own decision how to move forward in our lives. It's easier to say that change will happen when these conditions are met, like having a friend to motivate you, or having a partner that completes you. And I agree these things are beautiful, and they can definitely help you on your journey.
The fundamental thing we want is happiness though, and that can only really come from within. On one level that is simply being fully honest with ourselves and our pain in this life. On another level it is having the courage to pursue the things that make us feel alive. On another level entirely it's taking the journey inward to find a lasting happiness and aliveness.
I think your journey is just beginning, but I can tell already that you are ready for a change. It may be uncomfortable at first, but the more you can relax into it 'not knowing', then the more your new life will come to you.
Much Love Brother
Respect to you
Thanks again for sharing your truth
Lol. You want 2 females. While I csn tell you how fun that csn be in the short term I could only imagine the hell that would turn into long term. I would quite literally rather get my head smashed with a bat again rather than that option. Good luck on steemit. It is pretty fun around here if you just find your pace and run with it.
As you know @freedomshift featured you for this week's Pay It Forward Curation Contest.
First off Welcome to Steemit.
