I think it is in trouble longer term, although folks have been saying that for a long time. It's backed by fiat, is the main reason. But as long as the printing press continues regardless, I guess it is safe for now :)

I totally agree the US dollar is fucked long term! Corporations are businesses and are valued as an assets, they are just valued in dollars currently, but they could be valued in any currency even crypto (eventually I think they will be, upon mass adoption after the dollar fails) or even 1 oz. gold coins. Currency is just a means of trade, it’s a shame the fed has depreciated ours, but I expect nothing less from a central bank. That's why I believe the fed needs to be abolished. The fed reserve was instituted by Woodrow Wilson who was basically a raging communist. Economic central planning never works, that’s why the fed and US gov have been responsible for every economic downturn since and including the great depression.
