Today I will continue my tour with you around Wurzburg, the nearest city to the small town, I live in. If you missed the first parts, here they are:

This time, I will show you some impressions from the "Würzburg Residence" and finally show you some spots to go to, whenever you come to Würzburg for a visit. You may remember the Residence from the 2011 movie "The Three Musketeers", when Orlando Bloom and Milla Jovovitch where fighting on the roof of the residence.

You can find such great spots to relax and cool down, romantic spots to have nice flirts and quiet paths to have great talks or just think.

Moving on, you get to the rosegardens behind the residence

But...
Why seek far afield when the good is close by?
About a hundred stone "putti" escort you through the gardens:

Following the path you finally get a full view on the area. One thing to remember is, that every season has it's own blooming colour. If you go there 10 times a year, you get 10 different impressions. What can I say: thats impressive!
After such a long walk through these gardens, you will probably be hungry, or at least need a coffee. If you are hungry you should check out "La Casa del Gusto". Doesn't look much impressive, but here you get the very best handmade original italian pasta at a very good price (almost noone, even not locals know that, yet).
If you are more into fast food... you can get the best "Currywurst" here:
Or if you are not that hungry, but need some coffee and a piece of cake, you go to the "Brandstetter" at the market place and get a "Pflaumenkuchen auf Mürbteig"
If it get's later on the day and you are more into whine... go to the "Alte Mainbrücke" or to the "Ratskeller" there you will get a good traditional meal and the best whines at an elevated price.
