I wasn't introduced to Steemit by anyone. I discovered steemit on my own through a facebook post which the writer talked about censoring of some Steemit users by facebook because facebook considers them a threat to their business due to their effort in educating people about Steemit. The users he mentioned included @ura-soul, @surfyogi and many others.

This made me want to find out more about this platform.
