Howdy All!

This is Steven Q coming to you from the Great American Southwest

To start with I'd like to say I'm happy to have a place I feel good about sharing.
I'm not completely sure why I feel good about sharing here, but for now I'm just going with it.
So here goes.

I feel like I've always been a writer.
I know I've been writing since I was a little kid- stories, songs. plays.
And I've always loved to read.
When my parents got me the complete collection of Mark Twain, I read them all at least once.
I remember crying really hard at the end of Tom Sawyer cause I was gonna miss those guys.

The day after I graduated high school I hit the road.
I wanted to get out and see the world, and I wasn't gonna let a little thing like not having any money stop me.

You know-
I walked.
I hitchhiked.
I tried to hop trains-(harder than you'd expect).
And just generally, as they say, bummed around for awhile.

Somewhere along the way I acquired an old beat up Kay Guitar and all my stories started coming out as songs.

So I tried my hand at keeping a band together, and although we had some fantastic times,there really was to many variables intruding.
When my son came along I realized I didn't want to be gone all the time anyway.
Settling down helped me evolve my other art, digital and physical (I work with clay, wire, glass, and Light)

And the stories came back.

I have one book published-

From Crow Morning Chronicles

I have the sequel written, and one other totally different kind of book, in the process of becoming something other than scribbles on 100's of pieces of 8.5 by 11s.

Anyway me and the Boys still get together once in a while (and it's like we never put down our guitars) and I still play Saturdays at a place in my small town.

And one of these day we're gonna get back in the studio, and do our best to blow your egos away.
