Thanks @priscers! Just spent a month learning the ropes at a hydroponics farm in Corfu. Stuff like that is the future no doubt, but aeroponics is likely the way to go (even less waste, fewer parts that can break), combined with vertical and/or layered, plus automated (machine vision, algorithms). There are startups, particularly in America that are going deep into this, but it's still early days.
Yeah def more early than it needs to be. I want to get involved in one of those start ups when I graduate and help kick off this development. Brb going to go research some aeroponics now!
