Hello. I'm 53, divorced long ago with no children and here in the Fly Over State of Missouri (Kansas City) and I fully agree, it's not the greatest place nor is it the worst. There's places I'd rather be. I'd took to Steemit as I'm trying to improve my writing skills, I fully admit, they are horrible. It's a challenge. The ideas and thoughts are there but it's extremely difficult for me to get them "up and out". My current posts have been on politics, I'm not as political or Right Wing as I may come across. It's just an emotional time and I tend to be a reactionary.
