WHO ARE WE - Introducing @nigeriadaily

INTRODUCTION

Nigeria Daily is a project by members of the Steem community driven with the vision to change the atmospheric condition of the youths geared towards making a productive use of their time through skill acquisition and promoting the Nigeria culture to the world, emancipating the people from mental slavery and entitlement through the Steem Blockchain.

OBJECTIVE

According to Federal Bureau of Statistics, the unemployment rate has risen to 52% thereby leaving a larger population of the Nigeria youth jobless. With the emergence of Steem, NigeriaDaily executive goals are focused at tackling these issue having learnt about the evolution of the world through the introduction of cryptocurrency to Nigerians which Steem can be used as a decentralized tool to positively build or enhance the skill of an individual to stand in the midst of the harsh economy.
Vocational training will be organized to equip the youth with different skills. The future of every country lies in the power force of the youth. Equip the youth with the right tools, the community gains from it.

PURPOSE OF TRAINING

1. Reduces the unemployment rate
2. Empower one to be self employed
3. Reduces the government workload and takes away entitlement
4. Enhances productivity amongst youth
5. Decreases the poverty rate
6. Creates room for innovation and creativity put to work
   Majorly tells them about the Steem Blockchain and how it can change their community

PROJECT BENEFITS TO THE STEEM BLOCKCHAIN

• Onboarding of new members into steemit
• Targeting talent/creative individuals and bringing their skills to be exhibited and traded on steemit using Steem and Sbd as means of payment.
• Attracting potential investors through the numerous talents that will be on boarded.
• Promoting the STEEM BLOCKCHAIN in every training location.

ORGANISERS

The brain behind this project are @yungchief and @jacobite.

@yungchief- An Environmentalist and Politician who held different leadership positions while in the University.
He understand how the system works, having organised different seminars/workshop to enhance students to do more while schooling, wants to take this to a larger scale which will benefits both Steemians and Non-Steemians.

@jacobite is a student, pro-blogger, web designer, graphic designer which most of his works can be found on his blog. He has travelled around the country for different Steemit meetups and understand ways to get real and raw talents into the Blockchain technology
