I'm totally new to Steemit and a recent discoverer of cryptocurrency and the blockchain... thing... And above all, I just love what developers et al are applying their intelligence to creating - this seems like a community where people have massive plans and the ability to make them happen.
I won't be helping in that respect, not clever enough. My background is media production, so I hope to contribute the way a kind of mother-figure would - posting stuff about health, mental health, philosophy, some neuroscience stuff I'm very interested in sharing - basically anything I think can genuinely improve people's lives. Have been working in mainstream media and on Youtube for years and really welcome a platform where a lot of the corporate interests are removed or at least dented - and there are tons of really smart and interesting people using it.

I'm @andyluy and I've been here for almost 2 months, and I can tell you that steemit is the most amazing thing I've ever seen at the internet so far. I'm happy seeing it grows every day!
I had some hard time on the firsts week, so I spent some time searching information to improve my experience with it, latter I've decided to make posts about those and others helpful information in order to help the new ones to have a shortcut to get deeper knowledge of steemit and its potencial.
