ABOUT MYSELF AND FAMILY

Hello Hive community, my name is Kolawole Oluwafemi (Yoruba, translated in English as- let wealth come in & God loves me), an Electronics Engineering Student and a part time Entertainer from Lagos Nigeria. As an African man, I am of a good character and culturally stable attitude, I am the middle child of three children and we are all cute af. I have lots of interests- from travelling, mountain climbing, sports to dancing, singing, cooking, baking and playing guitar! I sound like a fun person right, but it will interest you to know that I am an indoor somewhat melancholic person maybe that’s because of my Scorpio sign and background as I was born in a barracks. But this doesn’t stop me from having fun all by myself. I am explicit and having lived in this universe for 25 years with no kid yet (surprisingly) but many heartbreaking relationships, I have concluded that no one can make you feel better than yourself than you can.

Both of my parents hail from the same town Ogidi of which I made a trip to last December, you can read the story on my hive.blog post @oluwalokcs. While my father is a Mechanical Engineer, my mother is an Educationist; I pretty much grew up with momma while dad was sojourned with work. I and my two siblings had fun as kids and growing up in the Army Barracks because momma was a teacher in the army secondary school. We faced lots of intimidation but I guess that’s what made us stronger and somewhat fearless. Classic living and tasteful diets was all we had as momma always kept the standard and whenever dad came home it was all a different whole style because he was strict lol, we never understood then but yah it was like that. God bless my parents.

EDUCATION It wasn’t really a big deal getting formal education since momma was an educationist herself, she taught us from early stage to read especially from the Bible, oh lest I forget, I am a Christian born in one the most strict church in the country and yeah it was strict as we wasn’t allowed to do lots of things like females don’t wear jewelries or trouser , the most annoying was that we couldn’t get a Television at home, so it was either go to the neighbor’s place when momma wasn’t around or read our books when she was. My siblings came either 1st or 2nd position, while I didn’t give a damn I just wanted to play and have fun selling art back then in my primary school. We attended a Christian school I preceded to a junior secondary school where I lived with my pops, another amazing time too, later I left for a Boarding house where I turned rogue, lol. It was a mixed school so there was lots of fun and breaking bounds. After my graduation from there I immediately got admitted to study Engineering in the University of Uyo, B.Eng still in progress.

WORKS AND HOBBIES
Since I am not through with my schooling it’s hard to get a job, but I have worked in technology/ telecommunication companies, where I gained lots of experience. Also I told you earlier that I am also an entertainer, yeah I picked up the guitar a year ago as I believe it’s not too late for me because this has been a choice instrument since childhood but since I couldn’t get it then thanks to my Girlfriend who gifted me one (ex btw), now I have knowledge of the guitar and hope one day to be a record producer/singer and win a Grammy. I love acting also, although I’ve never made a cut in any movie yet but hopefully someday. As a kid I remember setting up stage just to entertain my family members with songs and acts.

My hive/ecency community journey started from discord, introduced by @telokanda OG @citimillz and has since been groomed by him; I say a very big thank you to him. Also my gratitude to @spiritualking , @boscohage and @godswilla for their support.
Although this isn’t my first post but this is my introduction post and I hope to get more affiliated with this community, please show me some love and looking forward to meeting you all.
