After submitting the application, a male student in the US was welcomed 83 universities, scholarships totaling more than $ 3 million.
Darrin Francois made a lot of headlines when it came to 83 universities across the United States, along with many scholarships.

"I only file, file and file. I do not know how many applications I have. So, when they started sending out the newsletter, I got more and more approvals. So far, he has passed 83 schools, "Francois told WGNO ABC today.

Bridget, Francois's mother, is extremely proud of her son.

"83 universities? Great. It is a blessing from God. I am so proud. A mother is proud to see her son succeed, "she said.

Not only Francois, many other students at New Orleans High School (where the boys are enrolled) are also at the same university. About a dozen students receive at least 20 letters of recommendation and valuable scholarships.

Many scholars say that scholarships are a major determinant of their goals.

"I'm starting to focus more on career choices and the schools that will motivate me in that area," said Thalneisha Weston.

Francois has not decided which school to attend. Currently, he considers a number of law schools.

He said that scholarships that provide the most assured financial insurance will affect Francois's decision.
