THE ADVENTURE OF LIFE AND THE EXPERIENCES TAUGHT ME| A SELF-INTRODUCTION

Hello to every hiver out there, @davidtyler here! I'm so excited to take you on this journey with me. I would normally start by listing my age I'm 24 years young and my nationality is Filipino, born in Mohon, Sogod Cebu and now residing at Ilihan Tabogon Cebu. I like to experience new things. The way I look at it is that there is so much to life.

Know More About Me

Why shouldn't you be more open to try new things? You never know you like something unless you try. I only care for myself. I made mistakes. I am who I am. I believe that I am good and I also believe that I am capable of being better. I have always been proud of myself despite the judgments that I've received in the past. I will never be ashamed of the fact that I am strong.

I will always keep those judgments as my motivation just to pursue my goals and dreams. I tried to cope with the darkness, those thorns, and the shame. This is all I can say, I'm not ashamed of those experiences because, with those things, I was able to survive. Let's just keep those things as it was. Even if I'll be waiting for so long. Still, nothing will gonna set those dreams apart.

Challenges make you strive harder and life keeps you going and growing. I've been too lucky in my life and I'm praised by some people at rare moments. Life is full of twists. We may find ourselves standing in the middle of the road, staring at a path different from what we imagined. It can be either devastating or surprising.

Life offers us with many paths. We may feel like we can freely decide which one to take but having this autonomy is not a guarantee that the path we have chosen will be also the one where we will see ourselves taking later. Indeed, life can sometimes make us wander first before letting us step on a path that is written for us where we will feel qualified and belong, some people wait for our falls rather than our success. As the saying goes “When everything goes to hell, the people who stand by you without flinching – they are your family.” — Jim Butcher.

Indeed, real ones are not determined by how long we have known them but by their willingness to stay at times of our rainy days. In the end, I've learned to appreciate the little things. I've learned to appreciate the little acts of kindness that people would do for me. I've learned to appreciate the efforts of anyone who makes me happy. Those are little things that aren't little to me. It makes my day. It gives me hope when I'm lonely. I've learned to see the value of a person in my life.

And I also learned to appreciate myself for the things that they do for me to make me realize that I'm worthy. In the end, no matter how tired I am of this life, I still see people who care for me. I've learned to appreciate the love that they give me just so I can survive misery. In the end, the things we thought that are just little things are the things that we need in this world— love, kindness, and happiness. I learned to cherish what I have, to value myself, to love me, and to take time to understand who I am. I learned that life is a journey and when we learn to live is when we learn to love ourselves enough to not allow us to dwell on our regrets pain and sadness.

Making mistakes allows you to learn what you value when you like, what you don't want, and what you don't need. Your mindset allows you understand to that there are no mistakes, only lessons, and learning opportunities.

BASKETBALL IS MY HOBBY!

I love playing basketball it is my stress reliever each moment of my life I dream of how great I can be and continue working hard, it makes my body healthy. I'm a grown man. I have my style, I have my mind, I have my heartbeat. A basketball represents my blood, sweat, tears, passion, sacrifice, and most of all a sense of belonging and like family.

For me, basketball is a passion that I practice every day to improve my skills, and I look forward to playing with great players like James in the future. Basketball is more than just a pastime; it can also be a career path.

Describing a Person Who Influenced Me

My mother is a very wise person who can always find solutions to any problems. I understand that her life experience helps her to make the right decisions. But there are some situations when her opinion completely contradicts my own. And as a result, she always appears to be right. Her logical thinking helps our family to live in harmony and happiness. We have never quarreled because of some trifles and my mother taught me to find a halfway with people even when you cannot agree Of course it is impossible to describe all the features of my mother in this short piece of writing but I would like to say that this person takes the first place in my life. I will be always thankful to her for all she has done for me. I am pretty sure that she is the reason for all my achievements and victories. Her qualities helped me to understand how people should behave in life. She taught me a lot and now I can easily overcome any problems I face. My mother is the only hero of my life.

She combines only positive features that a person can have. I am proud to have such a mother as mine. I consider her the greatest person in my life who helped me to become the person I am now and influenced every step of my thoughts and behavior. She is the only inspiration for all my actions and decisions of mine. I am proud of their views.

The death of a mother is one of the most traumatic things someone can experience. If you are currently grieving your mother, give yourself grace. Whether you had a good relationship or not, there will always be grief associated with either the actual relationship you had or the one you wish you had.

For months, I’d assumed I would be completely incapable of functioning after my mom died. I had no idea what my life would or even could look like after that. I couldn’t imagine it, just like I couldn’t imagine when I was a kid, I would just have to cease to exist when she did.

Why Am I Here?

Thank you for giving me this opportunity. An opportunity to improve myself in English through communication and expressing my thoughts. I'm here to express my emotions perhaps taking that extra time so often has helped me become more patient with conversations. I often find myself wanting to get a very specific idea across, but it takes time to get down the exact word. There may be a range of concepts I want to express, yet at the same time, possible interpretations prevent me from clouding my life.
