A Newbie Page of Life

Hello dear Hivers, I am a newbie here in Hive and I want to explore this community and have friends from another country. So, this is my intro blog and I hope you all guys welcome me, and let's start talking about myself.

ABOUT MYSELF

I am Sugarplum,19 years old and I am from Cebu. I am a senior high school graduate. Before I graduated from senior high school, I lived with my parents. Then my life is not as good as other teens experience. I don't experience luxurious stuff even signature dress. I grew up in peace and full of love with my family even though I don’t know who is my real father, I have a mother, step-sister, and brother who assure me that I belong and am part of a family circle. Then before that, I will explain first how and when I became or how when I grew up. I will start with my mother's story.

At the age of 18, my mother worked in a huge house near of Cebu City area as a maid or housekeeper. Before she works as a maid, she is a fresh graduate of elementary school. That was the time she didn't stop her dream of passing high school even though she stops of her school for her work. She admitted first to my grandmother that she wanted to proceed in high school but my grandmother didn't want to. My grandfather's salary was not good enough for my mother and siblings to feed but even my mother didn't stop schooling. But she forced me to stop for the sake of her siblings and to help my grandmother. That’s why at a younger age she worked as a maid in a huge house even though she got away from my grandmother and her siblings. After 8 months of working as a maid in that huge house, she got a rest day or day off from work 2 times a month. Everyday day my mother went to the market to buy her necessities and food.

But one day my mother got her day off, at that time she went to the park and unwound herself for a bit. Then she met a boy or should I see her first love. That man knew my mother all along because sometimes he watched my mother walking in the street nearby in the mother's Boss's house. Then the time the man admires my mother from afar. That is why that time he got the strength to talk to my mother in the park my mother was shocked because she didn't know how it came. The man knew him but my mother is friendly, she accepts the hand of a boy. Who knew him and that day they became friends, and after 4 days they met again they didn't meet in the park but they met again in the house of my mother's boss. That man had become an aircon cleaner. My mother didn't expect that she would meet the man again. After that, they become closer.

One day, the man rang the doorbell and when my mother pulled the gate she saw it again and she was surprised, the man who cleaned the aircon became her suitor. My mother saw a man at the gate holding a rose and a basket full of fruits my mother's favorite but before the man entered the gate my mother got stopped because his boss was outside the door of the house. She was nervous at that time and didn't know what to do. But before his boss spoke my mother spoke first like a threatening girl. Her boss stopped her the boss was talking to a man. What is he doing here in the house? He was stopped by her boss. Was talking to the man about what he is doing here in the house since they don’t have aircon to clean. The man wanted to court my mother in a good way that's why he went into the house to get permission from the boss of my mother. My mother's boss was impressed because the man was determined to court my mother even though the boss was a terror since every day my mother went to the park even my mother went to the province to visit my grandmother she went to. After time years of their relationship, they plan to get married.

Then after they planned 1 year later, they got wed and after a month my mother got pregnant with his firstborn son who was my first older brother that older brother of mine was so strict with his younger siblings then. After that, my mother got pregnant again with my older twin sister they were not identical but they were so close and so loveable and humble older sisters of mine then. After 1 year my mother got pregnant again with my older sister this older sister is strict and business-minded a breed winner of the family and an independent woman. After 2 years she got pregnant again with my older brother but at that time my mother's husband got worse in his sickness and she went up to the hospital and died.

At that time my mother had labor in the same hospital as his husband. My mother ended labor in time of 1:35 am. Her husband died in time of 3:10 am the same date. That was the worst year for my mother. She cries every night she can't accept the fact that at the age of 23, she lost his husband. She wanted to die of depression at that time but they have or she had to care for and need her older siblings. My mother was so strong to endure that pain she got even me. I realized how much it hurt the way my mother talked to me with her story.

Travelling

I got interested in traveling when I was a teen, it gives me calm and peace, and looking for a nice place or views, the way I travel the way I find new things and adventures.

Food is one of my stress relievers and comforters. So, I usually visit food stations and restaurants when I'm stressed to relax for a while and regain my strength.

Who Introduced Me to Hive and Why I Joined Hive

Before I joined here in the hive I was introduced by @blacknight19. So, When there was an Orientation at Caduawan Elementary School, I attended. During the orientation, I learned from @indayclara all about Hive as well as the dos and don'ts in Hive.

I'm so thankful to @indayclara and the rest of the team for sharing their experiences in Hive like @dehai, and @jobeliever for I am motivated to join this community. The things explained by Mr.@blacknight19 explained to me were added. That is why I am more interested in this community because I realize that I can learn and gain more knowledge about this community and make friends in other countries. Through reading your blogs, I'm sure I am motivated and I can learn from all of you. Hopefully, I can share my `experience too in my future blogs.
