New on hive, lackluster on Steemit

in #intro4 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone.

I'm new on here but used to pop in every once in a while on steemit. I recently got back into writing and heard that a fork had occured on steemit hence here I am.

I don't know why, but I never really felt at ease on steemit. Hopefully things will be different here.

My name is Robertson. I am a biologist, weiter, TEDx organizer and sometimes graphic designer when the need arises.

By the way, is there anything special I need to know about Hive? It seems all kinds of articles are accepted and not just crypto. Is that right? Someone had given me information contrary to that.

What's the most interesting thing about this platform?

The interesting is that there are not bid bots anymore and curators are looking for good content to curate. If you post into communities your post gets more visibility and if it is qualitative it will be noticed and voted. Choose a community regarding to your interests or post at Gems or Ocd.
There are no many differences from steemit. The big difference is that it is decentralized here and nobody can sensor your post.
Welcome back and good luck
