Introducing chris andy

Hello steemians

I am absolutely elated to be here on steemit, I heard about steemit from a friend and actually got my account approved some days ago, but was a bit skeptical about the steemit platform and wasn't so sure I wanted to invest my time on a platform that seemed too good to be true, so I decided to do some research, I followed some steemians as suggested by my friend, Thankfully they were completely honest about the steemit platform whenever they made a post about steemit, special thanks to @ papa pepper and others for the series for beginners, that series established some points, the most important for me been:

1 steemit does not guarantee any rewards but it does guarantee great potential for reward.so I’ve got to have a long term mindset towards steemit.

I’ve been hearing about crypto currencies and blockchain for a while now, but they are not financially accessible to people with very little capital, steemit is my first real interaction with the crypto world, and I am excited, anyway enough about my excitement, it’s time to talk a little about myself.

Who is @ Chrisandy anyway?
My name is Chris Andy, I am a computer science undergrad from Nigeria (West Africa), I am interested in technology, nature, graphic design and cross platform web development. My hobbies include listening to music, Programming and watching movies.
I am a bit of an introvert, I love learning and having a thorough knowledge of concepts and ideas, I believe life can be filled with joy when we focus on the positives, my goal is to be happy, spend time with my family and having a job that I genuinely love.

I plan to contribute to the steemit community by SHARING INFORMATION AND PASSING A MESSAGE/KNOWLEDGE USING GRAPHICS and HOPEFULLY CONTRIBUTE TO THE OPEN SOURCE COMMUNITY USING MY TECH SKILLS.

Steemit is huge and can sometimes be confusing, but I hope to learn a lot from the community, Make quality contributions and help make steemit ubiquitous in the near future.
