Well, that was fast! Barely feels like any time at all, I guess when you're having fun, time really does fly by.
The past couple of years have been filled with all kinds of learning experiences, some more fun than others. One of the most important things I learned in 2019 is to keep a notebook handy when you're using blockchain technology. It's surprising how often I still need to write things down even though I have a big electronic typewriter in front of me.
2019 has taken us to many different places, without even leaving home.
As some of you already know, @munkiioh and I started up the community called @intrepreneur a few months ago. From the start, it was a bit of a headache for me to pin down all the details and keep track of the things I really needed to be doing.
Thus, I've been taking a bit of an extended break from things while @munkiioh has been handling most of what has needed to be done. Thank you @munkiioh! You rock!
Intrepreneur was started because we believed that there should be a place for every entrepreneur to be able to go to find and share ideas with others.
We are still in the beginning stages of inception, if you'd like to learn more about our community please check out our page!
Become a part of the Intrepreneur Community, maybe even purchase some INT on the Steem-Engine Market.
Much of this last year has been spent playing blockchain games! As you might expect, most of that time was spent playing Splinterlands (AKA @steemmonsters)
If you haven't already been playing, then I suggest you give it a try. It's been touted as "The best blockchain TCG" more than once by online reviewers.
Here's a simple step-by-step tutorial on how to get started playing Splinterlands, now!

@yabapmatt is the mad scientist running the scene.
My next favorite game of 2019/2020 (so far) has been Axie Infinity.
In order to play, you will need at least 3 Axies to form a team. The objective is simple for now but there is much to come for this game.
Currently, there are PvP and PvE options, in other words, you can battle other people or the computer to win SLP and ADAI.
Axie Infinity is a strategy/luck-based game. RNG (Random Number Generators) decide what cards you pull and are able to use. Your cards can either benefit you, not help at all or sometimes even hurt your chances of winning. Every match is different, which keeps things pretty interesting.
Speaking of luck, I pulled some good cards and saved up my energy during one particular match and absolutely destroyed his team of three with my one remaining Axie. I decided to make a .gif and show off how incredible my Axie's performance is. Behold.
Make sure to do some research before just buying any random Axie, remember, this is a strategy game.
Here's another tutorial for anyone interested in learning how to set-up and play Axie Infinity.

Last but not least is Gods Unchained. Another TCG but vastly different from Splinterlands.
Not even in the same ballpark, comparatively. Gods Unchained is similar mostly to another very popular game called Hearthstone.
I've never personally played Hearthstone but I have been told that GU did kinda clone it to start with. What they will do differently from HS has already started to appear with the announcement of their latest expansion. Of course, some things still remain to be seen.
I like playing GU for a few reasons, for one thing, it definitely requires strategy. Other than that, the art is pretty cool and there is a nice selection of cards to choose from to make a team. (Keep in mind, many of these cards are not free and you would have to buy them if you wanted them.) but, you can still play for free with the starter decks which is pretty cool.
Overall I give this game a positive review.
