DO IT YOUSELF
Some Christains prefer you give them fish instead of teaching them how to fish. And if you try to do otherwise, they get offended and irritated. No wonder most people easily get offended and leave churches with multitude because sometimes they find it hard to see the so called 'General Overseer' to lay hands on them. The disciples of Jesus asked Him to teach them how to pray (Luke 11:1) and Jesus likewise sent them out into the world so as to help them build their spiritual muscles. But the Christains of today will always want hand to be laid on them instead of learning to do it themselves. They see insightful teachings as boring and unnecessary. "Just lay hand on me and let me go" is what i see as 'SPIRITUAL LAZINESS'. Don't misunderstand me, am not saying it is not good for the 'Right Hand' (of course you should know their are wrong hands) to be laid on you, but please do not make it as a habit. For the challenges of life do not have time table, they can come anytime, so you should know how to 'DO IT YOURSELF' (John 1:12). As my Papa (Pst. David Ibiyeomie) will always say, "You can not drive your car with another man's headlight". So Fellow Believers, it is high time we went for the word and get revelation from it with the help of 'Jesus Unlimited' (SWEET BEAUTIFUL HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD) and stop being spiritually lazy.
Also, want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to God's servant, my Papa, Pst. David Ibiyeomie for the insightful teachings and more thanks to My Helper and Comforter (SWEET HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD) for Quick Understanding and Revelations into His Word.
