Success will always come for those who hold on at least for a while. It may come after a long struggle, after endless efforts....mention it all. However, it does not matter how long it took for you to get there, whether it took a short or long time, it does not change the definition of success.
‘‘If you hang around the barbershop long enough… sooner or later you're gonna get a haircut’’
Denzel Washington
Successfull people |
Successful people always have a very long story to tell. They want to share how they built certain principles, hope and disciplines to guide them, what they went through in implementing these principles, what their critiques said and thought of them...and so on. Through their struggle they would like to inspire someone else to know that amidst all challenges you may encounter, you can work them out and move forward.
What it takes them to be there
Successful people always go through a bunch of interesting and bombarding experiences. The trouble involved with paper work..Plans, reports, schedules, deadlines the whole stuff is tight at a certain point. They have to pay a lot of taxes besides domestic bills. This is scary. Ain't it? I mean how do you just stand the risk of facing many bills without assurance of returns?. But I think the focus is not only getting profits but rather creating a strong base for operations and opportunities of growth in their ventures.
How do they do it??

This is what actually keeps them forward. You may have the best paper work, well structured plan, good team/staff but without the art of holding on....love for quick returns, you may not succeed. Persistence teaches the discipline of being focused on the goals you set, your purpose, what you stand out for. You learn to work even without guarantee of returns from your venture because you're building for the future.
Persistence is very key in achieving your set goals. Like Brian Tracy said, “the more you persist, the more you believe in yourself, and the more you believe in yourself, the more you persist”. You have to believe that your success is guaranteed and no obstacle will stand your way. Billionaires like Bill Gates of Microsoft, Steve Jobs of Apples & Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook have all dropped out of college but they have still make it big. Edison also made more than ten thousand experiments before he succeeded in making the first talking machine.
Unfortunately many people who want to be successful don't always pay maximum attention to these stories. People look for the best parts to read and leave out the part of challenges. They are often interested in the immediate approach they can use to get them where they want to be forgetting that success is actually a step-by-step journey that you don't have to dodge or cheat.
Thomas Edison: His 1000 experiments failed but was immediately followed by the successful build of the light build. Supposing he had given up, would he have achieved the light bulb?? Even after the others failing, he remained focused.
If there is one word which should stand out in your mind in connection with these people, it is the word PERSISTENCE!
