Justin 'The Big Pygmy' Wren with the Children of the Congo

Steemit is home to many philanthropists and all around beautiful people, it is why I am here recommending my favorite charity: I first found out about 'Water4' from a mixed martial arts program if you can believe that or not. Former Ultimate Fighter challenger and current Bellator heavyweight fighter Justin Wren is a heavy influence for 'FFTF' and has actually migrated to the Congo to live with the Pygmy tribes indigenous to those plains. The Pygmy tribes of Africa have overcome almost insurmountable odds: no clean drinking water for miles, cannibal tribes that hunt their people, being small enough for enough even animals to prey on them...it is a life of constant strain and duress.

A Heartwarming Embrace from the Congo's Children, they had never seen a white man before

Justin is a wonderful man, he was a former prize fighter who now fights for what is truly important in this world...and that is other people! 'The Big Pygmy' as they call him still fights for money at a professional level, and all that money goes back into his travels and the costs of the 'Water4' Foundation. He has lived with these tribes for over 5 years now and only comes back to fight, or to promote his cause. When walking to the cage, his walkout music is the tribal calls of his Pygmy people, and he makes sure to shout them out after ever victory.

'Water4' is one of few legitimate organizations in the Congo making a difference in attaining clean water and education for the children. All proceeds go towards schools, cafeterias, showering stations and many more necessities in restructuring a third world society. This foundation is not as prolific or as monopolized as a 'Red Cross' type of charity, so there is no media garnering the attention or resources it needs.

If you are at all interested in this charity, please do check out their website. They have a great mission statement with a simple goal in mind: everyone deserves to have, and will have clean water! I have left a link to the donations page below, they also have a nifty clothing and gift store which I have taken advantage of and love. Thanks again for your consideration and time, the Pygmies appreciate you!
