Yelled a whiskey-ridden man posting on a Bitcoin talk forum back in 2013.

This inspiring man had a message to share with the world:

"I type d that tyitle twice because I knew it was wrong the first time. Still wrong. w/e. GF's out at a lesbian bar, BTC crashing WHY AM I HOLDING?

With a girlfriend swept away by a lesbian bar and a seemingly distant Bitcoin value, this brave man shared an inspiring and inebriated truth that left a historic mark on the world forever:

He was going to HODL.

HODL Means: "Holding On For Dear Life"

It is often the simplest and most useful piece of advice you can provide any novice trader in the crypto space.

Through my bouts in the space, I've realized that this concept not ONLY applies to crypto, but directly to our lives as well...

And thus, in this short and sweet-spirited post, I seek to add meaning to the HODL concept and how we can intentionally and productively utilize this concept to our advantage.

...even when our partners leave us for gay bars and Bitcoin heads south for the winter.

What Will You HODL?

Here's the plain truth:

The things that we desire the most in life are the things we must be willing to HODL for.

Whether it's a new business, an intimate relationship, a lifestyle, an invention or an investment (just to name a few)...

We must be willing to hold onto these things regardless of what we see.

I make reference to our visual sense as oftentimes we make judgements and decisions based upon what we see outside of us.

But a dream and a true soul-based desire does not exist in the world out there...

It exists within us.

Thus, the challenge that life constantly presents to us is to HODL our dreams, especially when we have every reason to sell out to the world we see outside of us.

There's a real and definite reason why many people are not living a life that is truly fulfilling.

And that has a lot to do with this simple fact:

HODLing ain't easy!

It requires an incredible sense of patience, committment, and willingness to confront each and every fear within us.

But when we hold on...

When we stay focused...

When we face each and every fear with a firm conviction in who we know we came to this Earth to become...

This is the moment that we discover our true powers.

And these are the moments that lead to the life we've always truly desired.

Everyday we have a choice to HODL to our dreams

If you've let your dreams go in the past, today is the perfect day to hold on once again.

Life is short, yet it is a long form game.

So dream big and hold strong my friends...
