Did you trust someone who hurt you and lied to you? Did you beat yourself up for it for days or years?
Me too!
Humans are allowed to make mistakes. Mistakes humble us, and help us succeed and grow.
We discover our unique selves in this trial by fire. We are simultaneously flawed and glorious miracles.
Being grateful for the whole hot and beautiful mess we are allows us to accept ourselves and love ourselves. To stoke that quiet graceful, passion within and grow it.
Like the legendary phoenix, forgiving yourself helps you rise from the ashes of your funeral pyre with renewed youth.
The healing fire of forgiveness refreshes you and you emerge bigger and stronger.
Your ancestors overcame unbearable struggles to create you.
Problems arise, but each time you emerge bigger than the problems and thrive.
Your heart heals, your pain is forgotten, and you open yourself to life again.
Shame and guilt are released and you move forward.
You focus on your strengths, and become stronger.
Your voice sounds quiet at first, but your words of wisdom slowly lead the way.
The miraculous computer inside your head is unaware of its’ capacity, but you stretch it and reach for more each day.
Give yourself a big hug! Then hug the person closest to you and tell them they’re awesome!
Our vision depends on sharing it with others and shining a light for them.
In the end, you will only wish you forgave yourself sooner!

Playing the victim is such a common negative feedback loop and debilitating one thing that makes it hard to escape is the resistance for forgiving yourself for all the past F-ups. We write about similar topics. I'll be following you .
Thanks, yes you have to free yourself!

If someone lies to you, do they deserve to be forgiven for making mistakes?
Yes, but you need to forgive yourself first before you can forgive others!
