RE: These Steemians Have Found the Answer! #DolphinSchool Bootcamp Rewards Day 1!

in #inspiration7 years ago (edited)

My first article ever outside of college was here on Steemit. It was written, as was everything else I've done here until recently, on a phone. My whole story it's long as it's yours I'm sure. But why I'm here is only slightly to share my story but also promote good causes. My partner and I run @sharingsociety but I do so as I myself need to find shelter still each and everyday. In sobriety I find strength but I also find myself often needing to ask for help each day. I just took a job with the City but tomorrow again that is second inline after finding shelter. I work hard and write every night afterwards. I do so for therapy as much as filling a seemingly bottomless pit. I live in the mountains of Colorado and shelter this time of year is mandatory. My first article here saved my life. This is it: https://steemit.com/hope/@adamrant/frankly-i-don-t-give-a-shit
I love writing now. I plan to educate myself in the art of as soon as I can afford to. Thank you sir. Foul language is contained if that bothers you I apologize. In the mountains we are like pirates that have never seen boats.

Steemit offers my last hope.

Followed you and @sharingsociety. Keep on keepin’ on! :)

Solid! Thank you! I'll be watching you too...

Wow! I'm blown away by your raw honesty and courage in telling it like it is, no holding back or sugar coating. The adversity you've faced and survived, well I'm gobsmacked, and yet I still feel a positive vibe in your writing. My philosophy is and always has been 'no judgement', which can be difficult at times, but if I don't know the whole story, I should just keep my mouth shut. Anyway, I wish you positive success both online and off, I also use my phone for Steemit but I use MarkdownX, free on playstore, which makes it a lot easier!

I'm going to download MarkdownX next thing I do. I really appreciate comments that pertain to the subject and therefore your time. Comments are something I was wrong to assume I'd receive more of considering I refuse to speak (write) as if there is a definitive one way. I'll take the highway if that's ever the case. Tonight I'll read through your blog and I'll also be posting another article. Talk to you sooner than later.... Love at ya

You're slamming? I like it! Language is my passion, don't tell the teacher I'm secretively slipping these words to you in passing. I'm still learning, devouring the whole experience, it's cool, there's always distractions, stay warm in your essence and know we're all connected <3

Love that word “gobsmacked!” Going to try to find a way to use it in homework 3!

English has the most quirky words! Mollycoddle is another great one.
