Spider's rescue operation

There was some sort of daily-household drama at home yesterday involving a spider lol. You know house spiders are my best friends. No, not the one I'm showing you in the picture, that one lives in the garden.
I'm talking about those fragile creatures with long legs and a miniature body that live in the corners of the ceiling, unnoticed, without disturbing people in any way.
So, we had removed the lid of the cistern on the toilet bowl for a period of time because there was no water and so it was easy to pour bottled water inside. And so recently I saw that a spider had settled in the cistern, spun a web over the water, and hung over it comfortably. But shortly after I saw it, my partner put the lid back on the cistern.
I was almost hysterical: Poor little spider, what is it going to do locked up in this cistern? I immediately had my partner open the cistern, grabbed the spider and pulled it out before it knew what was going on.😄
It must have screamed during this time: Dumb b^tch, take me back to my favorite place, why are you removing me from there?
It might not have liked my rescue operation at all lol. But I'm just a dumb human and I do my best, even if that my best isn't the best according to the others/the spiders in the house.
