They are core to the land game but there has to be enough "value" in the real core of land and that's SPS gathering and research. Without those two things then people building buildings that need wood and stone are going to be very low. It wont be until research and SPS hold some decent value that people are going to really start to take buildings seriously at least those are my thoughts.
