Con la llegada de Diciembre, muchas familias comienzan a hacer planes para celebrar la navidad. Se hacen las limpiezas profundas, se pinta la casa, se sacan los adornos, el arbolito, las piezas del nacimiento. Es ya una rutina aprendida que todos cumplen para las fiestas de fin de año.

Pero como todo en la vida no es necesariamente lineal, en algunas oportunidades algo pasa que nos hace pasar el mes de manera diferente, siendo así una navidad completamente atípica, sea por alguna circunstancia imprevista o por querer darle un vuelco a la tradición.

With the arrival of December, many families begin to make plans to celebrate Christmas. They do deep cleaning, paint the house, take out the decorations, the tree, and the nativity scene. It is now a learned routine that everyone follows for the end-of-year holidays.
But since nothing in life is necessarily linear, sometimes something happens that makes us spend the month differently, resulting in a completely atypical Christmas, whether due to unforeseen circumstances or a desire to shake up tradition.

Y no se trata de cambiar de religión, o de un acto de rebeldía, sino que en muchos casos, las circunstancias nos obligan a adaptarnos a ella, haciendo que la festividad se torne triste y melancólica, o por el contrario, descubramos una manera diferente de celebrar la navidad.

Recordar esos momentos, o figurarnos cómo sería una celebración fuera de serie, nos pondrá en perspectiva las cosas que son importantes de celebrar en este último mes del año.

And it's not about changing religions or rebelling, but in many cases, circumstances force us to adapt to it, making the holiday sad and melancholic, or, on the contrary, helping us discover a different way to celebrate Christmas.

     Para hacer más amplio el llamado de esta iniciativa, no solo nos referimos a la navidad, sino también el año nuevo y otras festividades que también se llevan a cabo durante el mes de Diciembre, como por ejemplo el día de Virgen, el de las velitas o también, el de los santos inocentes.

Este mes de Diciembre, se presta para hacer una recapitulación, pero también para replantearnos las cosas que son realmente importantes de celebrar y de conservar como tradiciones. Quizás te sorprenda el ver que algunos cambios terminen resultando en momentos más felices y en circunstancias que determinen los cambios que estás deseando lograr para el próximo año 2026.

Para ayudarte con tu participación, te damos algunas preguntas que pueden orientarte al momento de hacer tu publicación, pero igual tienes total libertad creativa para hacerla.

• ¿Qué tradiciones han cambiado en tus celebración de navidad desde tu infancia hasta ahora?
• ¿Recuerdas alguna navidad atípica en tu casa? Cuéntanos qué tuvo de diferente y si conservas algo de esa fecha.
• ¿Tienes pensado incorporar alguna nueva tradición para esta navidad?
• ¿De presentarse la oportunidad de celebrar la navidad de manera diferente, cuál sería el plan ideal para estas fechas?

To broaden the appeal of this initiative, we are not only referring to Christmas, but also to New Year's Eve and other festivities that also take place during the month of December, such as the Day of the Virgin, the Day of the Little Candles, and the Day of the Holy Innocents.
This month of December is a good time to take stock, but also to rethink the things that are really important to celebrate and preserve as traditions. You may be surprised to see that some changes end up resulting in happier moments and circumstances that determine the changes you are hoping to achieve for the coming year 2026.
To help you participate, we have provided some questions to guide you when making your post, but you still have complete creative freedom to do so.
