Netflix is looking for a way to not leave the market and continue generating profits. Although the platform remains one of the most important, it no longer generates so much interest. This is because in their good times, what attracted more people was the fact of having exclusive content. Since last year Disney "the most important entertainment company in the world" has been removing slowly, so as not to draw attention suddenly, its content of the known application. This is because they probably want to create their own place and thus not have to pay amounts, which could be their own profit to netflix.
These and other concerns put netflix in a corner with few alternatives. One of his ideas has been buying rights from known animes and exploiting them in real action movies.
One of the most recent was the full metal alchemist, although in my opinion the most controversial was the adaptation of the film for which they are here "Death Note".
Based on the anime of 2007, it came 10 years later to be really criticized and teased, but was this movie really that bad? Or just disappointed the nostalgic fanatics?

Hikumi.
The Netflix version of Deathnote is really really bad. Totally hate it.
The Japanese version was not so bad. Worth watching.
Anime is good. But the best is still the original Manga version.
I started reading it way before it became famous. Still remember the time when I read the first chapter. It was amazing!
But that was also because I been following the author since Hikaru no Go.
Also recommend to read his next manga Bakuman (already ended).
Anime and Manga all the way.. :)
