RE: crypto up and up

in #informationwar3 years ago

It's pretty insane.

Nowadays there are a lot of scams. Both around NFTs and around cryptocurrencies. Unfortunately this also includes the Hive blockchain. Recently I am seeing more and more people, who mention that someone hacked their accounts, stole funds, etc. I suggest/recommend to everyone to be extra careful about account security. If you have multiple accounts, then it is good to check them often. Maybe one or more of them is powering down and transferring funds to other accounts, without your knowing.

So be extra careful about account security.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

I got lured in, despite being in this space since like 2014 and being very knowledgeable about nfts and stuff. I just never came across this scam before.

I am also around cryptocurrency since 2014, and maybe I was lucky, but no one scammed me so far. As I know, no one even tried it so far.

I created my first Bitcoin wallet on 2014.02.26, and I started collecting cryptocurrencies with faucets (for example FreeBitcoin, QoinPro). I created my first Dogecoin wallet on 2015.05.01. I started mining with MinerGate somewhere in 2016. I registered on the Steem/Hive blockchain on 2017.05.17.

By the way, I found Steemit by searching for something GPU or mining related, and I clicked on an article, which was on Steemit. At first I did not even noticed Steemit, just/only the article. I do not know which article was it, and who was the author of it, but I registered on the Steem/Hive blockchain on the same day.
