I had completely forgotten about Japan.

Isn't Japan something like the #2 largest debtor in the world after the US?

That would explain the rush to war with NK.

Nothing takes peoples' minds off of a shitty economy better than en EVIL Empire right on your doorstep (whether it exists or not).
