That would be a tough sell to his voter base, given that a large part of his campaign platform was criticism that Obama had too many Czars and that his executive department basically superseded the Legislature. It wouldn't go over so well if he said "now I'm going to do the same."
Relax. It may not look like it from the home front, but from an expat's view, believe me. He's doing EXACTLY what he said he was going to do.
When Obama was in office, when I showed my US passport at a Customs and Border checkpoint, the officer would snicker and grin. Now, I flash that passport and a wide-eyed, suddenly-ashen-faced officer hurries me through.
