Whenever you give an institution the power to send individual's to another country for whatever reason you will have a bunch of special interest that will help increase the need to go to war.

Without war weapon's manufactures for big weapon's like tank's and the big big gun's would loose ton's of money and have to fire people (which is good for the people) bad for the weapon's manufacture.

Without war a lot of people would loose job's etc this would be good for the people because now these people would actually have to get real job's that actually produce or ship or watever thing's that the people want or need like food, shelter, water, clothe's, furniture, tv's, phone's, car's.

So we could either blame Trump for bowing down to these interest, or we can blame the institution that cam send individual's to war. I blame the institution because if you have no power to send me to war then I would only go when Necessary. Now the propaganda machine is bad to but also controlled by government which in turn government is convinced by special interest that own the media corporation's which have ties to the military industrial complex.

There is not really one clear answer as to why exactly trump is continuing the war, but there is a clear answer as to why government's go to war and that is simply because we gave them the power to do so.

Thank you for reading and the comment I really appreciate it!!!

I agree with what you said but wanted to point out an additional interesting reality. Your point about us going to war for profit is true, but it's ONLY true for the companies that comprise the military industrial complex. The State itself doesn't make a profit, in fact we have massive deficits partly because of how much we spend on the military. This is weakness of a representative democracy like we have. Our leaders have a "Renters" mentality. Their objective is to get elected and will often promise things that are long term bad for the country to do so. This doesn't only happen happen with the military though. Our deficit spending on the Medicare / Medicade & Social Security is also out of control. In fact, we could be spending literally 0 dollars on the military and still be running a deficit. But it's easier to get elected if you promise free stuff and so our politicians do it, even if long term it's going to kill the country.
