Great post! You're right, saying you're a law abiding patriot isn't all that appealing, especially considering that many of the laws don't make sense. The prison industrial system is the new slave market, where most labor is for free. I think they're actually getting cheaper labor from those who have committed "victimless crimes" than what they would otherwise and this is one of the reasons why they want to keep the prisons at full capacity. Employment rates are down, but the amount of prisons being built and young men and women being incarcerated continues to rise. The moment we decide to stop feeding the beast system and take action for our lives responsibly is the moment we begin a journey towards true freedom and prosperity otherwise we are destined to repeat the same mistakes, going through the same revolving doors and never making any true progress.
