THE N WORD

Seriously though, I've heard the phrase "the N word" at least a thousand times in the last few days.

What pops into your head when you hear it? Nutella? Maybe some Edgar Allan Poe "nevermore"? Nearsightedness? Maybe, maybe.... But more likely you're exactly like everyone else and the word that you immediately registers is the one word everyone is trying so hard to avoid. The word that shall not be named.

You see, language is a powerful tool for good and also for evil. Every time someone says "the N word" it has exactly the same effect as actually saying the word.

Why is this word singled out as "the most offensive word in the English language?" Obviously because it's been used as a vehicle to convey hatred and to progress the oppression of an entire people group for centuries. Obviously. But don't we choose to be offended?

Most of you white folks don't really know what "cracker" means when someone refers to you in that way. Is it white like a saltine? Perhaps you're dry and got no soul, just a friendly jest? Hell no! It's a shortened version of "whip cracker"!

Have you ever stopped to consider that there are oppressive derogatory words in English that have no masculine counterparts? Bitch, whore, cunt, slut. Women are absolutely the most oppressed people group on earth. 75% of all illiterate people are female. And these words are used everywhere, regularly. In Australia the word "cunt" is perhaps the most popular word there is.

How many cures for diseases have gone undiscovered, revolutionary educational processes been lost, valuable insight suppressed, because of the continued oppression of women? And hasn't our use of language aided in this somewhat?

The msm understands the subtle power of language (they are professional spin doctors with armies of lawyers after all) and even the left leaning ones love stories like the Omarossa "N word tape" because it allows them another opportunity to pound the "N word" into your head and thereby perpetuate the endless oppression of people of color by the establishment without sullying their own reputations.

"fuck you, you dirty N word!" "all N words must hang." or alternatively: "what up my N word?" it doesn't matter the context, or if we actually say the word, anyone listening has the word in their minds. And the result is the same as if it were actually uttered.

Our thoughts have power. Measurable power. They are made of energy. When we turn our thoughts into words, the energy remains and is amplified by a new type of energy, sound. That then has the power to alter the energy of others thoughts, and replicate itself, placing those words into the minds of others. This must have an effect on the world.

I think the possibility that the American president uses such language is despicable but let's be real, is it surprising? The man refers to Mexicans as "drug dealers, rapists, gangsters, bad hombres."

He's done his dead level best to vilify anyone that practices Islam or comes from an Islamic country (there are over a billion Muslims in the world by the way). Now that Omarossa has left the white house, can you name a ranking black white house official? Not likely. My point is: Trump is a fucking racist, sitting at the head of a racist establishment, and the news media is complicit in perpetuating this racism.

But here's the thing.... That one big thing that nobody seems to be talking about: there's only one race: the human race. Somewhere in the world there is a Welsh vampire so pale you can see the blood pumping through her veins. And somewhere else there is a man so dark that all light gets absorbed by his skin like a black hole. And guess what? All 8 billion other people fit somewhere on the spectrum between the two.

This idea that there are multiple races of people is outdated and ignorant, and really only serves to separate us further as human beings. Fuck that. We are all the same. Most of us just want to get laid and get paid, and the amount of pigment in our skin shouldn't ever define who we are or how we treat each other.

In the end, these ideas only have the power we give to them. So if you're still reading this frustrated rant I would challenge you: stop referring to people by their skin tone. Be aware the subtle manipulative attacks on your subconscious by the use of language, and let love dictate your judgement of others.

Thanks for reading my "N words", I love you all. What do you think? Have I missed something here?

Your title and the first part about specifically the "N word" made me think of this song I discovered a few months ago:

Most of us just want to get laid and get paid

Wow, I really hope you don't believe that is true. If that's what most wanted, the world would be quite the sad place.

As you point out, the system (statism & capitalism) are extremely hatefully, oppressive, and violent. The one thing that I don't feel so aligned with is the argument that it oppresses just one group. Skin color, gender, religion, etc... Unless you're part of the ruling bloodlines you are considered lesser than by the system.

Holy shit. Cool song.

In reference to this particular word, it's derogatory to black people. That's the group to which I was referring.

And I have to stand by my statement: the average American just wants to get laid and get paid. If it were different people would care enough to change things for good. But instead most carry on like sheeple right over the cliff.

I absolutely believe this goes against our nature but mass conditioning plays on that nature and twists it and conditions the person into a base greed ridden animal.

That's all I meant by that. I have hope for the future however, and am thankful every day for the Internet and groups like steemit.com.

When I was a kid I was lucky to have even one person that lined up with my beliefs by 60%. But now I have hundreds that are closer to 100%. Things are changing slowly, but as a nation we are still kept as drugged up and ignorant as possible. We separate ourselves mentally and spiritually from virtually everyone else and would rather play candy crush than question why we have money for endless war, but not proper education.

I appreciate your opinion greatly, and wonder what you think about use of "the N word" instead of the word. Is it self imposed censorship to avoid offending anyone, or is it just a subtle way to manipulate the consciousness of the masses?

I totally agree with you, the word with N should not be an offense, I am Latin American, Hispanic, it does not offend me to call me that, it is a culture and we are all human beings, good blog

Thank you friend

That word has been in pop rap music marketed to white adolescents for close to 3 decades now. Seems like a weird thing for the music industry to do, unless u believe pop music is a tool to influence & divide & help conquer. Then it makes perfect sense

Whaaaa? Who would do such a thing? Oh yeah power hungry assholes that get off on creating division and strife in the name of higher profits. Shit.

I used to think it was all about the profits, I tend to think it’s all about maintaining the power structure nowadays

Of course it is, but they go hand in hand don't they? This is a nation of debt enslaved tax cows. Keep them broke and hungry with a common enemy other than the power brokers, with just enough hope for the future that they don't revolt. Money and power are both wings of the same evil bird.

Definitely can’t attain one without the other

Muchas gracias otro vez!

Bueno hermano, es una locura, la peor situación en la historia del país, inflación de 3% DIARIO,. Maduro termino de reventar el país con estas medidas. El país aun esta a la expectativa pero ya muchos empresarios y negocios empezaron a despedir a su personal, la situación esta grave.

Saludos

Que triste todo
