The rebbe's are impatient. They believe the timeline has been reached. It's time to bring on moshiach. The only way it can happen according to their literature:
The total destruction of all mankind (including them) and the earth/sun/moon/stars. Once everything is completely destroyed, the moshiach will come fix it all.
