Steemed Lobster: The CIA and the Roswell Incident

IN A PREVIOUS Steemit story, I related the strange tale of NASA astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell, and his voyages into space both outer and inner. The story ended on a cliffhanger, because it turned out that a very famous figure was apparently involved in Dr Mitchell's attempts to get to the bottom of the mystery of the so-called "Roswell Incident."

That famous figure was allegedly Admiral Bobby Ray Inman (pictured in the 1970s, above; and today, right).

Admiral Inman is a former Director of the National Security Agency (NSA), and former Deputy Director of the CIA.

Inman's is a name that will be more or less instantly recognizable to fans of the various controversies that swirl around in the world of ufology.

Admiral Inman was indeed involved in Dr Mitchell's 1976 quest for the truth about Roswell, as Inman himself confirmed to me during a telephone interview. That's a pretty big disclosure, and it deepens the Roswell mystery in an unexpected way.

It now turns out that there is a further twist in this tale, which involves someone even more famous than Admiral Inman. Someone who I can pretty much guarantee will be instantly familiar to everyone reading this Steemit post.

I asked Admiral Inman about specifics of the meeting with Dr Mitchell, and you could hear the horror in his voice when he realized where I was heading with my questioning. It was clear that he wasn't going to confirm the identity of this famous figure. I didn't want to get Admiral Inman rattled and risk him hanging up on me, so I dropped the subject and pursued that line of inquiry separately, after the call had ended.

My inquiries paid off. And now, the time for disclosure is nearly upon us, so watch this space. (Puns fully intended.)
