The fate of monkey gibbons enter the garden of Durian Regent of South Bengkulu

A monkey type Siamang Hylobates Syndactylus lost in Durian gardens belonging to the South Bengkulu Regent's family Dirwan Mahmud. When caught, the condition of a gibbon in a state of weakness and lack of fluids.

It is estimated that the son of a gibbon was separated from his group when entering the community garden. The regent's family had time to restore the condition of the monkey gibbons before being handed over to the Natural Resource Conservation Center (BKSDA).

Head of BKSDA Resort Manna, South Bengkulu, Rinjuan WIndi Adi said the conjoined monkey pupils are in good health and will be released back to their habitat in Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park or TNBBS.

The release of monkeys after being trained by BKSDA team is considered to be able to live independently in the wild.
