I thought the same thing but thats not true. News comes from NEW, things or information that is new, then NEWS is plural. NEWS is old word, when there was no internet or TV, back then news was local, not from all parts of the world that like today.
I consider your comment but still i believe if NEWS means New things than what Discover means?
