A joint project between University of South Australia and the University of Stuttgart using artificial intelligence technology (AI) and monitoring eye movements from 42 participants, is used to identify a person's personality. This eye tracker is video based from sensor motoric instruments.
Of the "top five" personality traits consisting of openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism, AI technology is able to identify four characteristics of the five lists.
According to research, this is the first time the eye movement is used to identify the personality traits of a person.
Quoted from the official website of University of South Australia, Dr. Tobias Loetscher also said, thanks to this machine learning approach scientists not only validate the role of personality in explaining eye movements in everyday life, but also reveal the characteristics of the new eye movement as a predictor of traits personality.
Artificial intelligence is more increase in next few year.
