PT Sreeya Sewu Indonesia Tbk (Company/Sreeya), was founded on September 6 1985 with the name PT Betara Darma Export Import which is engaged in the business of raising broodstock chickens to produce commercial chickens, slaughtering chickens and integrated chicken processing with cold storage. In line with business development, in 1986 the Company took strategic steps, by changing its name to PT Sierad Produce, which was then followed by conducting an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and listing shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on December 27 1996 with the stock code "SIPD ”.
The next business development was carried out through the acquisition of PT Belfoods Indonesia, a company operating in the frozen food management industry, with current share ownership of 99.99%. In 2015, the Company became part of the Gunung Sewu Kencana Group with the entry of PT Great Giant Pineapple as controlling shareholder. On September 21 2020, in line with the synergy with the Group and part of the transformation, the Company changed its name to PT Sreeya Sewu Indonesia Tbk.
