Laut Bungkah menjadi sumber pancaharian bagi nelayan disekitarnya. Oleh beberapa alasan, laut bungkah tidak lagi dijadikan tempat wisata. Kini hanya terlihat para belayan yang mencari ikan untuk kemudian dijual kembali dipasar.
